I'm a LICENSED Master Color Specialist, Stylist, Make Up Artist and Photographer. I used to own a well known hair salon in Durham called D'Jin Salon. I recently closed my salon to focus on my freelance career.
I've been working in this industry for about 12 years, and I LOVE IT!!!
I enjoy doing all styles, especially anything that allows me to think outside the box!!! I am fun, energetic and professional and I expect the same of those I work with. I'm very creative and I do what it takes to get that jaw-dropping shot. Creativity breeds creativity and I am always inspired by the people around me!

I'm SUPER DUPER busy these days...so I'm not doing ANY TF/TFP! So please don't ask. However, my rates are very reasonable!
Having said that...I will consider TF, but ONLY if it is a commercial/print shoot that I will receive credit for. (i.e. PUBLISHED) I will also consider TF projects for any model I contact in order to build my photography portfolio.

I have 3 requirements for projects/shoots. These are to ensure that the portfolio development we do benefits BOTH of our portfolios.
1. I must be able to view gallery of raw images (via online gallery or cd) and pick 1 from each look. I am fine with and expect a certain number of unusable (as deemed by you) images to be eliminated before delivery of the gallery. (I will also NEVER use/manipulate ANY of your raw images without your permission).
2. Images must be sent to me within 1 month of the shoot date!!! If your current projects/commitments will keep you from fulfilling this requirement please contact me when this will not be an issue.
3. Please Post credit to ME using any of the following:
"D'Jin Salon, D'Jin, Make Up By D'Jin , or Jen Mathias" when posting any of the images used from the photo shoot.
(These requirements DO NOT APPLY to concepts intended for publication, film or other projects that require a longer time frame)
