I am a professional artist, originally trained in drawing, painting, and sculpture, who now works primarily with digital photography to create digital art images for print. My focus is on juried art competitions, and I have been fortunate enough to have been included in over 140 local, regional, national, and international exhibitions in the past three years. My work includes wildlife and nature images, a series of nightlife images, portraits, and a figurative series using live models. My creative sensibilities are still firmly rooted in my painting background, so my digital art images are essentially painting with pixels. However, I do occasionally produce enhanced photographs as well, but I do not hire out as a professional photographer.

I have joined MM to expand my pool of models from a few generous friends, and to be able to search for particular body shades/shapes and collaborative opportunities with creative models. Obviously, the model always influences the direction of the creative process, but typically my finished images are about my art and not about the model as an individual. They are often manipulated in a way that renders the model unrecognizable except in a generic way. I have worked with content creators on a TFP basis to develop images for their sites, but I am primarily interested in paying for photo sessions.
