My background is in landscape photography, with a love for participatory adventure photography. That includes running around in the mountains, hopefully embodying some of the spirit of Galen Rowell. I've been shooting since about 2014, with visual arts experience in drawing and painting for many years up to that point. I'm currently learning about shooting with models, and I strive to make fine art through collaborating with whoever is in front of my camera. I prefer to shoot outdoors in landscape settings--where natural light pushes creativity. I keep my kit minimal, so a mirrorless body with a a couple lenses, tripod, and maybe a flash with umbrella and stand are all that I run with.
