In the past, when I walked the stage for amateur modeling at dance competitions or even simply when I was the subject instead of the photographer, I felt this sense of beauty and power in ways I had never felt previously. This everlasting dream has withstood many hardships throughout my life and I believe it always will until I am able to accomplish it. I come from a broken home and I had a difficult childhood. Dance and modeling took me away from my problematic households and provided me with a healthy outlet that made me feel strong, seen and proud. I never want to stop feeling that way.

Experience:
As I mentioned earlier it all began at dance competitions as a child. There I would submit headshots, and dress in gowns and casual wear to strut around a stage. I was judged on "beauty", personality and my walk. This lead to a handful of regional and national titles and tons of crowns. Overall, most similar to pageants, although I was never deeply interested in pageants because I preferred the energy at dance competitions. So, definitely amateur, but it was a start!
Since I moved to NY in July 2021, I have been working on building my portfolio and networking. I have done a few TFP shoots, but none in studio. The one formal studio shoot I participated in did not teach me much other than people go to great lengths to scam aspiring models.
That said, I am eager to build on my experience, and grow my portfolio. I am a quick learner and am very serious and passionate about this goal. I am grateful for every TFP opportunity and every peice of advice anyone may have to offer. Thank you!
