Fleur de Guerre

What you see here is, simply, me. I am a total vintage devotee, especially the styles of the 1930s, 40s and early 1950s. The look I have in the shots in my portfolio isn't just for pictures, it's how I dress every day. I'm vintage from the top of my head to the soles of my shoes!

I'm proficient at a range of vintage hairstyles and have an ever-expanding wardrobe of vintage and reproduction clothes, shoes and accessories. I have also done all my own makeup and styling in all my pictures, except where indicated otherwise, but I would certainly be open to working with stylists and MUAs to get a different look. I'm especially interested in giving a 60s look a go! (Too much 60s Bond and Avengers, most likely).

I do modelling for fun (not much hope of me giving up work to try to 'make it is a pin-up girl' unfortunately!), but it's a fantastic hobby to have, and it's my way of keeping the era I'm devoted to alive. And also to show off my most special vintage clothing! But I do take it very seriously, and I am not a flake in any way. If you book me, you can be assured you get a top-notch vintage model, hairdresser, MUA, and stylist with a vast wardrobe, all rolled into one convenient package! And most importantly, you'll get someone who is experienced, patient and enthusiastic.

All that being said, although I love my Golden Era look, I am really here to create striking and memorable art, in my usual vintage/ pin-up genre and out of it. I am keen to do more shoots in unusual or surrealist veins, motion shots, in weird and wonderful locations. Something to leave you thinking... or just confuse the hell out of you!

I'm available for photoshoots, catwalk shows and promotional work (maybe you need a vintage cigarette girl or a glamorous compere!). I have very reasonable rates, and I'm definitely open to TFCD work, if the project is interesting and different. I am only available on weekends, unless it's paid, guaranteed to be published, or an exceptionally creative and exciting project. Do get in touch though, I'm sure we can work something out.

I am also available for work as a vintage stylist, so if you need someone to do vintage hair or bring a selection of clothing along, feel free to contact me.

I've done two shoots with Fleur, and have produced some my best work with her. She is great to work with and has an excellent understanding of her particular niche, and can do her own wardrobe and make up to a very high standard. Fleur is great, she's the real deal. If you are looking for 30's. 40's, 50's pin-up, film noir or vintage look then Fleur lives this stuff 24/7 and will help you make some great images. On top of this Fleur is bright and well organised (more so than me) and communicates well both before and during the shoot. Definitely highly recommended. Oh and she looks great too!
