It all began at Conestoga High School where I took art studio and started to work more and more in the medium of Photography. The 4 years of art studio and photography taught me composition, color theory, and lighting. During these years I began to do work outside of the classroom and bought myself my first digital camera. The Olympus C765 was the perfect advanced point and shoot that was by no means limiting. Soon this camera never left my side. With the constant use and wear and tear the camera finally died and it was time to move into the world of DSLRs. I bough a Nikon D50 just after they had come out.
Around this time I was accepted to Penn State to become an Engineer. During my first semester. I launched my website and proceeded to update it on a biweekly bases. I took all the photo classes that the college would allow and it wasn’t enough. I wanted to take more and expand my knowledge of photography. In the Spring of 2008 I changed my major to Photography and signed up for a full semester of art classes.
During these years I was hired to shoot several occasions on Long Beach Island. One of these was a 3 day event consisting of around 25 boats racing. 1500 Pictures later the majority of the sailors had some piece of work to go home with. Also some of my surf photography can be found on the walls of Farias’ Surf & Sport in Beach Haven.
I recently graduated from Penn State with a BA in Integrative arts and a concentration in photography. Currently I am living in Chester Springs and looking to set up a studio and network with local photogs and models.
