Hello my name is Claudio Contrasti originally from Sicily /Italy where I resided for 20yrs then moved to Paris for 5yrs and then London where I'm based currently.
After settled in England I also open my own salon Contrasti London specialized in all aspects of Hair Trends .
I have been involved in many different Fashion Weeks around Europe as Couture Hair Stylist working alongside with top designers, I am specialized in Editorial for Fashion magazines and photo shoots. I have been working for Miss Selfridge ,Jasmine de Milo , Arkadius and for many different Designers, my work is been published in Alef , Collezioni, Cosmobellezza, Clam Magazine,Clash,Cosmopolitan, Grazia, Hello, HJ ,HAIR's now, LAG,Salon Business, SuperSuper Magazine,Shoo, Star, Sunday Times, Tramp, Viva ,Vogue France etc ... Being not stranger to celebrities, I have styled hair for some of the most sought after supermodels such as Erin O'Connor ,Sophie Anderton ,Lisa Butcher ,Valeria Marini and also worked with many well-know International presenters and actresses.
I have been working in this Industry for the last 20 years and with a thriving business as an Ambassador of big companies such as Revlon Professional , L'oreal Professional I do currently travel a lot for work around Europe and USA .
Who I'd like to meet?
Well I would like to network with (Photographers, Models,Stylist,Fashion Editors,Film/TV Producers with a Creative vision to share this Passion , to create Art , exchange ideas, opinions and possibly why not get together and team up for some creative projects .
BOOKING A SHOOT:
I work only for personal projects, for magazine submissions , big events , catwalks, porfolios , advertising etc... or if you're one of my favourite Photographer/model/MUA/stylist etc..
