LATEST UPDATE! My submissions under the Fashion category for the SONY PHOTOGRAPHY AWARDS 2009 have received a commendation from the Honorary Judging Committee.
The commended images, out of a total of 25,370 total worldwide submissions, will appear on the SONY PHOTOGRAPHY AWARDS 2009 website as well as the official 2009 Sony World Photography Awards Winner’s Book.
To me, photography is more than just a hobby. It is an expression of individualism – the thinking process behind the shots, the selection of elements within a photo and ultimately, the photographer’s very own definition of shot-worthiness. The end results – the photos – are merely a tangible reflection of that thinking process.
A photographer is NEVER satisfied with his photos. He can be contented but for a moment and then his yearn for a truer portrayal of his ideals will drive him further. He will seek but not find because individualism never stays the same. You are never who you are yesterday and you never know who you will be tomorrow.

I love natural light… great photos are captures of light dances
I love black and white… and anything else that comes with matching lines / curves / patterns.
I love shadows... they not only follow and mimic everything you do, they also add depth and feel to photos.
I love strong colors… striking & bold colors would cure my color blindness.
I love dramatic poses… the wilder the better. Just don’t give me the ‘peace’ sign – I will faint.
I love challenging concepts… the near death types would be ideal. Really.
I love simplicity… a simple beautiful image says more than a cluttered overloaded photo.
I love photography… I feel images, not see them, before I shoot.
I love coffee… just black with a little sugar will do.
I love my car… without which I would probably be too lazy to lug my gear around.
