My name is Michael Lau and my studio "Toad Images" has been operating since January 2002. My work consists of fashion, magazine editorial and model portfolio photography. Recently we've added graphic and web design to our repertoire and we still put on exhibitions (when we have time!).
Our ethos is to deliver excellence in all we do. I aspire to create powerful, beautiful photography that would not look out of place in the glossy fashion magazines. I've been fortunate to work with a few celebs in my career including Johnny Vegas and Shobna Gulati and have been published in Hello!Magazine, The Sun, The Mirror and Reveal magazine.
My list of clients includes Spoylt Lingerie, Eternal Spirits, Thomas Cook, TN Corp, Blue Bella, Exposed Magazine, Pulse, City Lights Magazine.
I truly believe that photography is an artform and that is how I approach each and everyone of my shoots. I also know that to be successful in creating beautiful images you need a team of creative, like-minded people - models, make-up artists, hair-stylists, stylists etc.
I am here to showcase my work to possible clients and to source models, make-up artists, hair-stylists etc. when the need arises.
I do tfp occasionally and I certainly don't mind being asked - but please don't be offended if I say 'no' because I'm not here to be judgemental and at the end of the day it's only l'il ol me
