I studied fashion design at Uni, specializing in product development. I had done a few work placements, one with a lingerie company which I had really enjoyed. After graduating I was offered a position with Splendour (small Lingerie brand) and started working there, and I became senior designer quite quickly. As a small brand I was able to get my fingers into everything and was able to start producing their lookbooks. The photographer I met through this asked me to do a couple of tests with him, which I did and loved, and then decided to go freelance. I had been at Splendour for 5 years when I went freelance and still have a relationship with them as design consultant.I also am design consultant for two other lingerie brands.
I love what I do, it's one of those if I didn't work in fashion I'm not sure what I would do, I love clothing, and I love creating images that compel a reaction.
