Hello, thanxx for dropping by my page. I'm a makeup artist who just started in the beginning of 2008. In the Fall of 2007, while flipping thru the September issue of Vogue that was thicker than my entire bagel with cream cheese, I was trying to think of the next thing to do in life. "Hm, how about becoming a *makeup artist*... THAT's a cool job..." It just sounded pretty cool. So here I am. I'm working as a freelance MUA now doing mostly production work. Ultimately, I hope to work in fashion. I love fashion and so that's my main goal/direction/interest. I crave things that give instant gratification & so that makes this perfect for me.
Currently, I can only do very limited TF* shoots. I'm looking to work with models who fit the high fashion type (I prefer 5'9" or taller, under 110 lbs).
I have styled hair on some of the shoots I've done makeup for... but truth be told, I'm not trained as a hairstylist, so I wait til I see the head of hair in front of me & then I basically just wing it from there. Everything is based on a theory of plus-or-minus (+/-). Take away or add on until you have harmony. I've been drawing and painting my whole life and that comes to great use. I'm very anxious to expand my portfolio in good taste :-) I also want to collaborate on experimental & edgy new ideas that DO NOT LOSE TRACK OF BEAUTY FUNDAMENTALS...
"We can see it for real
But it doesn't make sense
We're the outsiders
We can see all this speech
Come staggering out
We can climb its way to the top of the cloud"
-Athlete "The Outsiders"
