Im Rachel. Im 18. My main passion in life is photography. i want to be a photographer. i got an A in my practical for photography AS but because of the writting part it got brought down to a high B. i love it! i have 6 cameras and i love every single one of them. i mainly focus in film because its for my college course and its mostly film, digital if you want it. since starting the course i have fallen in love with film cameras and i love it because it gives me a sense of satifaction as i see my pictures being developed in front of my eyes.

mostly i like to shoot things with meaning and a message behind them. such as looking into depression and stuff, i find it really interesting because you can find things about about the models (if any were used) and how the photographer sees things. one of my main inpirations at the moment is Lizz Gordon winner of picture this on channel 4. i think her work is amaing and it really inspires me to try harder.

i have recently descovered the wonderful world of photoshop... well i had it before just could never use it and now i can do some stuff on it not quite amazing yet but i cvan find my way around it and if not i ask my mate Alice shes pretty amazing on it.

i will probably upload so different photos soon because we've started a different project at college and for my exam i chose to do "the decent into alcoholism" i hope that the film comes out alright well i'll find out later because im processing it today (15-02-08).
