My name is When, also known as ART of WHEN. Yes, When is my name as in WHO? WHAT? WHERE? WHEN?, but it's a proper noun. Please don't call me Art.... Art is what we create together.

I am the owner, creative director, producer, event planner, photographer and once model and actress. I head up a fantastic team of creative people at SPA Studio. If you are looking to build your portfolio look me up. Please note however that I get over 500 emails a day and organize over 40 shoots and projects a month. I do my best to get back in a timely fashion, but occassionally emails get sidetracked, so if you don't hear from me give another try.

SPA Studio is by appointment. Our standard weekly calendar of activity is listed below. All of the people in our Model Mayhem friends list are people we have worked with at the studio. If you would like to be added come join a dynamic, fun and pro-active group of supportive folks we are always looking to meet new people to work with.

Seattle Photography Associates Studio is  3300 sq ft studio. The studio is supported by very affordable monthly memberships geared towards the beginner photographer just starting out working with models to the advanced professionals working in high end couture and catalog. Our photographers come together to share the cost of collaborative shoots. The studio, which is community, not profit based is volunteer driven. Members share their time, resources and talents towards promoting the collective ideas of advancing model photography standards and encouraging networking in the community, developing skills in model portfolio development, advance in photographic skills and encourage new members to progress through mentoring. SPA follow a  photographer's code of ethics of respect for the peers, models and creatives they work with. We look to work with people who are professional, possess a positive attitude, work well within a collaborative team.

Together with the West Washington Performing Artist and Model Exchange we host various model - photographer networking activities. We strive to build a supportive network between models, photographers and model photography support creatives while building lasting and positive relationships with full spectrum of models. The common goal is to collaborate together to create images that improve everyone's interest.

Models PLEASE  do not assume that everyone who name drops SPA Studio is legit - always CHECK with us to be sure. If you have a question or would like a referal for a specific photographer, model or creative just drop a line. We can not  outright endorse anyone outside of our administrative core, but we will be happy to report if they have a positive track record and if they are an active member in good standing with SPA. We do screen and remove photographers from our registry who do not follow our code of ethics.
