Liv Lethal

My name is Liv Lethal and I am a freelance hair and make-up artist from Richmond, VA. I specialize in vintage hair and make-up, primarily 1920s through 1960s.

I have a passion for pin-ups and the high glamour and style of the bygone era -- especially the '30s, '40s and '50s. I try to accurately re-create each time period in my work -- from lip and eyebrow shape to color palette.

I have transformed hundreds of average women into sultry sirens of the past. Eighty percent of my clients are not models. They are housewives, soldiers, bankers and teachers. I am not here to "build my portfolio." I'm here to share my art and meet new clients who want to experience what it's like to feel like a starlet.

I am always looking for new photographers to work with. If you're interested in adding a little old-school Hollywood glam to your portfolio, let me know. I would love to collaborate! I am willing to travel.

I am also beginning to branch out into the world of couture and avant-garde hair and makeup. While these two styles are slim in my current portfolio, I plan to add new photos very soon.

I generally don't do any TF* work. This is a job for me and a source of income. My makeup, time and knowledge are not free, so please don't expect me to give them away. Plus, my busy schedule, for the most part, does not allow it. I will occasionally make exceptions for published print/video work, so shoot me an e-mail if you fall into this category and want to collaborate.

A NOTE TO MODELS: If you do not show up for a shoot or cancel 30 minutes prior without a good reason, please do not expect to work with me again. I do not tolerate unprofessionalism. Please be responsible and reliable.
