HOWEVER I AM ACCEPTING COMMISSIONS AS A P.S. &/or TRAD ARTIST / ILLUSTRATOR ~ tfcd / tfp stuff only for those to whom I have made previous commitments : in an ideal world I would be happy to continue just to do Art for Art's sake... but my current Situation / Debts means that I can't really afford the luxury of giving myself away any more. Re. outstanding TFCD / TFP projects : Apologies for any delays, you will get your images asap darlinks! You'll get a full set of contact prints (w/ basic editing / retouching) & a retouched enlargment of my fav from the set by email.Then if you send me a short list of your fav pix & any stylistic suggestions I'll do you a further 2 or 3 retouched pix OR 1 multilayer photomorphereal. If you want any prints notify me re the details / an address to send them to. Likewise if you want the full set of fullsize/res unedited photos on CD. Purrrrlease note : as a rule, under current circumstances I can't afford to give out any more than this free of charge . If you want more then there are 2 options a) you could commission me to do further retouching or retouching + photomanipulation; (b) as I will be giving you co-copyright I have no prob with you editing & using the images yourself - or getting a 3rd party to edit them (as long as you show me the result & credit me as appropriate if the image is displayed publicly in some physichal or virtual way.
I am always happy to collab on an equal artistic basis with models / muas / designers, etc & welcome intelligent input & dynamic involvment in post-shoot stuffs. I have a strong Inner vision & a 200mph lateral imagination... but I'm not an artistic control-freak. I like to help ppl realise their inner visions too, to feel free to express themselves emotionaly & /or explore their own ideas / priorities.
When I say no more Shoots for a while : I am actually looking to collab with a variety of 'togs & stylists in a mutual learning & knowledge / skill sharing kinda way... in the interest of developing & refining the Photography side of what I do (which I feel is currently my weak point, despite kind insistence by some that this is not so). INTRO...
It would seem that somehow you have fallen thru The Looking Glass & Down the Rabbit Hole, and have ended up here in The Haunted Clockwork Garden of The Cheshire Mooncat. If you're wondering WTF is going on it's no use asking me, I haven't got a clue... but you'd be welcome to join The Teaparty, you're just in time *purrs & pours a cup of tea*. Come to think of it, my pocketwatch seems to be permanantly stuck at the hour of four. I suspect it's butter in the works, or a Ghost in the Machine... or something.

BACKGROUND:
I'm a 200+year old ex pro photographer who is hoping to return to the Creative Industries on a semi pro basis (mainly as a PS Artist / Illustrator) . When, many moons ago, I was a Pro 'Tog, I had a small studio and worked on film (using 35mm & 6x4.5 medium format cameras). I also developed & printed all my own b&w material. Later I studied Fine Art (BTEC Foundation) at college, where I specialized in painting, although I also worked with other media, including metal, ceramics, textiles, sculpture and… yep you guessed it : photography!
My current photographic work is in some ways informed & inspired by painting : particularly the work of the19th century Decadent Romantics : Art Noveau, The Pre-Raphaelites, The Symbolists, & c. Other artistic influences include contempary Dark Culture, Victorian photographers, early b&w horror films, Surrealism, Edwardian faerietale artists (such as Arthur Rackham & Kay Nielsen), trad Arabic / Indian / Oriental Culture / Art, 60's Psychedelic Subculture, the landscapes & forms of Modern Cityscapes / Overgrown Ruins & Natural Wilderness. Also the work of Erte, John Galliano & Tim Burton... oh, I could go on but you get the general idea! In terms of contempary photographers / Photoshop artists my main influences are : Malgorzata Maj (aka Sarachmet), Eden Prosper, Hilary Keller (aka Dusk in Sodom), Viona & Laura Jade (aka Laura Faerie).
CURRENT GEAR / AIMS / AVAILABILITY:
I use a Nikon D60 w/ Nikkor 28-70mm & 75mm lenses & Photoshop CSI w/ a Wacom Graphire Pen & Tab. In the past many of my shoots have been location, but I am currently working on developing the tungsten / halogen light based home studio setup I used for the December 2008 shoots w/ Victorian Muse & Giselle Bourignon. The aim is to be able to do both a location & a studio shoot with visiting models / designers / etc.
At present, my main aim (photographicly) is to refresh / expand my portfolio, and collaborate creatively with Innovative & Imaginative people; so my photoshoot work tends to be on a TFP / TFCD basis. As for Photoshop work: since January I've gone semi-pro, so (with rare exceptions) the only tfi /tfcd PS work I now undertake is stuff related to my own shoots. If you are interested in commissioning photomanipulations for personal or commercial use, please contact me (my rates are currently very reasonable!).
My main interests are working on both artistic projects & promo material with models, MUA's, stylists, designers, shops / online shops selling clothing / accessories, venue owners / events organisers, musicians, photographers, etc... particularly individuals or groups who are involved in the UK Alt / Dark Culture scene.
