Joshua Blank graduated from Parsons The New School for design in 2009 with a BA in photography. He spent the next several years shooting lifestyle, fashion and advertising work as well as writing articles for a vareity of publications both online and in print.

In 2011 Joshua realized he missed the routine of having an nine to five and working on his bicycle and returned to his previous work as a bicycle courier. Reliving himself from the weight and bulkiness of hauling his large professional digital camera around town he traded the the digital format for film and the SLR for the point n shoot which he could conceal on his person. The work that came for this was more personal and passive, giving an inside look into what legal messengers a breed confined to San Francisco experienced day to day.
