Your idea about me doing jumps in random places is an excellent idea, I think I will attempt it if I find a Photographer to shot it.
For the jump "Everything is possible" I might be hum... 3 feet 4 inch in the air something like this.

The rearing is not usually a good habit to teach a horse, but mine's pretty good about it. Wish I wasn't so far away so I could help you out! Your port holds its own without a rearing horse anyway! Beautiful job!

Snocross racing photography is relatively safe. I usually shoot with a 70-200 at around 140mm. So I am about 30 feet from the action. All that said, there is no safe place on a track, a sled can crash anywhere, anytime. A snowmobile is around 450 pounds, so if you get hit you will be in bad shape. You have to keep alert!
