Mayhem # 735181
I am a confident, social and creative makeup artist based in London looking to work with industry professionals. I began my artistic training by completing an art degree before setting my sights on the world of fashion makeup. At makeup school I honed my technical skill and painter’s eye for color, texture, and detail have firmly established myself in this industry.
I went to one of the best makeup schools that has trained the likes of Charlotte Tilbury and Hannah murrey, two of the most influential makeup artists and regulars on the pages of Vogue. The experience was very inspiring and taught me a lot about the industry. This course has given me the skills to apply makeup to the highest standard. My Fine art degree has also given me a wealth of creative inspiration that feeds into this field.
Years spent drawing portraits has given me a sound understanding of the contours of the face and how to apply shading in order to enhance its shape and structure and make the shapes more dramatic or soften features.
Colour is something that has always excited me. This is not to say I only like vibrant hues, but the subtle plays of color and how different combinations can work with different skin tones and highlight specific facial features. I am great at mixing colors and knowing what combinations to put together.
I love meeting new people and hearing about their passions. I have a natural ability to make people relax, a vital skill when working in such close proximity. Being a team player is crucial when coordinating with strong-minded clients, photographers, models and stylists. I have learnt the art of compromise and the importance of getting individual views heard in order to achieve synergy, learning from each other’s experiences in order to ensure the best results.
Fashion inspiration can be found in a whole wealth of sources. Trends can come from street style, icons from the world of music, vintage boutiques, from films and TV, off the walls of art galleries as well as from the pages of glossy magazines. I pride myself on observing what is happening around me and use this to inspire my makeup.
Please contact me by email firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 07752 085786. I look forward to meeting you!
