Rubenesque Rubies

I've been intrigued with modeling since I was in my teens, but there were not any real opportunities for a smart, fat girl in rural south-central Indiana in the 1980s. 
I got into the Big Beautiful Women (BBW) community in 2007.  I attended BBW Bashes and conventions and met some totally amazing women!   I was approached about modeling, at the age of 42!   
While I am not interested in "pay-site" work, I am interested in modeling.  I have very limited experience, having done two fashion shows at BBW events.  My posted photographs are all from the past year.  I did have to cut my hair earlier this spring, due to chlorine damage (I'm an avid swimmer!) - I can't wait for it to grow out again!  I will also be adding a full-body shot in the near future (I just did not have one readily available at this time.)
I also want to become a photographer, especially working in artistic BBW portraiture.  I believe that Western culture does not appreciate nor celebrate the beauty of full-figured women.  I want to show the lusciousness of the BBW's form and give voluptuous women a venue to express their innate sensuality.
I want to specialize in lingerie/boudoir portraiture, but I am also interested in couples photography, and wedding photography. 
I have worked as a childrens' and disability advocate for the past several years and look forward to melding my passion for advocacy with showing the world that feminine beauty is NOT a matter of size!
