i am an agency-represented model so you are equally welcome to contact Hero Artists regarding scheduling/booking; there are times when my own schedule makes it difficult to keep up with MM
-------------------------------------------------------------
**PLEASE READ BEFORE MESSAGING ME ABOUT MODELLING**
-------------------------------------------------------------
1)my eyes are grey, though sometimes (rarely) they will appear pale blue in a photograph (natural light has a greater tendency to pull the blue tones out than studio lighting).
2)my hair is currently blonde.
3)my ears are not pierced.
please don't be surprised by any of these things when i show up to meet you.
if you require me to sign a model release, it needs to be emailed to me in advance of the shoot so that i can read it and address any concerns before i participate in the shoot! it isnt fair to ask me to sign it after ive already completed the shoot.
furthermore, if you'd like to collaborate on a TF basis, please be aware that - with few exceptions - i will only consider TF shoots if:
1) no model release is required; if you arent paying me, we ought to have equal rights to the photos
2) i will receive a contact sheet of ALL the images from the day
3) i am able to receive any images of my choice in sufficiently high resolution digital negatives for printing 9x12.
4) you understand that paid assignments take priority; if you want a guarantee that another shoot won't take priority, my rates are reasonable

about me as a person:
im a recent graduate from the university of toronto, with a bachellor's degree in astronomy & astrophysics, and a minor in music (cello).
so why do i model?
in real life, there are moments so intense, so intimate, and so emotionally charged, but they only last a moment. afterwards we're left wondering if the intensity was something we exaggerated, and the moment loses its poignance in our mind. the essence of modelling is to evoke and sufficiently prolong those moments to allow a photographer to capture them. 'a picture is worth a thousand words' they say, meaning so too are the fleeting moments which are captured in them... the difference is that we can't freeze time to describe each moment in a thousand words the way we can with a photograph. i love modelling because it allows me to create these moments, and deliver them into a media through which they can be observed indefinitely in their fullest intensity.
and why do i act?
the impact of a still photograph, while incredibly poignant, can only ever hint at - and never quite capture - things like the subtlety of movement, or a progression/sequence of actions and reactions. acting allows the impact of imagery to be applied to a prolonged story without the necessity of a viewer's projections and deductions.
science (physics in particular, of course) will always be close to my heart, but there is something beautiful in the human condition, and i love bringing the various aspects of human existence into a medium which allows them to leave a greater and lasting impact, so this is what i have chosen to do with my life.
