About Me

Everything here is more than 3 years old. In that time I sustained an injury to my right hand that has complicated all aspects of my life but most notably anything involving a computer and sadly it's taken years to reduce the physical pain down to a controllable amount so that I can use a camera or equipment. I'm still available for work and art of all kinds and I am best reached via email. randombitsnsuch at gmail

About me~ well other than I hate filling these kind of things out here goes

Experience~ I have been taking pictures for as long as I can remember. As a hobby its been a few years and as a profession I am in my second year. This being my first year totally on my own and freelance not with a studio. So while I have and do get paid to be a photographer I would not say I am a professional because I am still experimenting I am still learning and finding what aspects I like best. I do and have done weddings, seniors and children. I am currently working on vintage style portraits, my own art and fantasy scapes as well as product/advert shoots

Philosophy~ Well two parts really
Why do I hold the camera to my face? believe it or not in the modern age where many people have never even used a 35mm I have been asked this. My reply and therefore philosophy, "If I am to capture the soul and essence of something or someone wouldn't I need for it first to pass unfiltered and perfectly framed through my own soul? When the shutter clicks when my hands wash over a keyboard or a print what I have captured a stolen memory a borrowed moment reforms from my very soul for all the world to see. But first my soul had to see it had to steal it. Do I put false horns on real unicorns? Perhaps but would you care now that you've seen one".
Secondly I am not always that philosophical, I am in fact very laidback fun and gentle. I believe strongly that everyone and everything can be beautiful and that you do not need a thousand dollars or Photoshop to show the world that

Other than that I am looking for anyone interested in modeling, MUA's, hairstylists and other fun creative people. I do work for a vintage boutique and am looking for people for various projects through there as well as my own. TFCD/TFP and some occasions may have additional compensation. I have access to many varied and unique locations and quite the wardrobe makeup and props collection. I am a clothing/custume and accessories designer and producer so I will look for models for that as well. I will probably be getting an additional profile for that once I have enough shots of my designs to put up (edit 5/09)

Projects in work this summer~
Retro swimwear~ with 40's and 50's vintage swimsuits
the Perfect women~ vintage high heels and aprons and household tasks
Urban Fairies, Urban Tarot, Shoots for my hairfalls, jewelry and clothing designs, modern fairy tales and what ever else sparks to my head I guess but this is the must do list at least some of them right ^_^
