I am a photographer in the San Francisco area, and I am updating my portfolio by focusing on different areas of photography such as portraiture, beauty, lifestyle, editorial and glamour. My goal is to be as diverse as possible and produce awesome images while doing it.
I'm shooting in digital for fast post-production. However, I am also shooting film and instant film, "polaroids" - to keep them alive. I believe film provides a level of uniqueness and randomness that digital cannot offer.
Fall is here! I like to get back into the studio and work on some high fashion images in collaboration with models, makeup artists and stylists to come up with great looks and excellent poses. I also like to produce very nice portraits and clean, soft lifestyle images including some from the "Me in My Place" concept.
I am inspired by the following photographers and by many others as well - Richard Avedon, Irving Penn, Annie Leibovitz, Dorothea Lange, Ed Weston, Kim Weston, Ansel Adams, Imogen Cunningham, Robert Mapplethorpe, Terry Richardson and a young photographer named Andrea Hübner.
I want to express my sincere thanks to all the models, MUAs, stylists and designers that I have worked with. I realize it takes hard work, time, effort and applications of your creativity to produce significant and meaningful work. For these and everything associated with these efforts, I am sincerely honored and deeply grateful. I believe it's the whole team that makes the photographs beautiful.
