I have been shooting professionally for 46 years and I've done everything from Astrophotography to nudes I still enjoy the creative process and working with new people of all skill levels Ninety percent of what I shoot is outdoors at real locations a short distance from my house. I see no benefit of shooting swimware indoors unless it's for catalog work. It just doesn't make sense. I feel the same way about shots that the background is photoshopped in. During the winter I do a lot of wildlife and landscape work and during the spring and summer auto racing. It used to be Nascar but now it's Formula One so I travel worldwide 6 to 8 times a year.
My rates are very reasonable at $100 per hr. If it's for my own use I pay the model and a signed release is required. I do a limited TFP but no harm in asking.
