Twisted Sizzors was founded in 2012 by 12-year industry maven, Tia Hunter. For Tia, hair has always been a passion from the days she practiced styling her dolls’ hair to the classes she teaches as a certified color educator. She embodies art and fashion in her personal style as well as her professional practice. As an artist, she understands that expression takes many forms. For Tia, expression is aligning her clients’ visions with reality, which she accomplishes through the creative use of shape and style, influenced by the enlightened use of color, the evocative forms found in nature, and the nuances of particular era or genre. All these, and other creative musings, coalesce into Tia’s mantra: make the client feel beautiful from the inside out. With over fifteen fashion shows under her belt, Tia is excited about showcasing her style and talent alongside the other hair artists across the World.
