Have been at this for some time finally reaching the point where I am now at what I consider to be "somewhat retired." What this means, in essence, is that I am no longer subject to the ungodly long hours, travel and grueling schedules I once loved. I won't even mention photo editors that confuse "vertical" with "horizontal". (Oops, I did.)
My work is now mostly by choice, seeking that near perfect image I've yet to decide upon. I do still shoot for customers and contractors, but just enough to keep a toe in the biz and I freely say "no" when I want. Such is euphoria.
This site gives me a chance to offer my skills to new and aspiring models be they determined career seekers or simply hobbyists. I love the idea of Time For Trade because it's not even as taxable as the barter system. I don't mind working for/with someone to each our benefit. We still have a lot of fun with it.
The problem we've had through this site is travel. We are 90 minutes from the KC area, which considering my past career, is nothing more than equivalent to a cross city drive in many metro areas. I used to feel that a bordering STATE was "in the neighborhood." Things are different today - gas prices, determination, time. If you are willing to make the drive, we will bend over backwards for you. If not, well good luck on that career but please, don't waste our time making arrangements you never intend to honor. Notoriety comes with effort, not just a pretty face and adolescent dreams.
Models: if we contact you, further examples of our current project can be seen at:
All work to be shot in or around studio. We are now a mom/pop business.
