I will not be accepting any offers to work with anyone for about 6 to 8 months starting August 1st. If, in the future you still want to work with me, feel free to notify me. I will be keeping my MM page up so feel free just to shout a greeting.
Let's start this off like this. My name is Eric. I am a eclectic nude and erotic photographer who does not focus on mainstream photographic techniques. I am constantly trying to hone my skill and creative side. I absolutely believe that art is from the soul. It is not something that is created in mass amounts or within a flock. If it is to carry the title of art, then the artist must be true to himself and his work. I know there are a number of potential models that I could work with who count this as their main source of income. I completely understand that. But you must understand something, too. This is not only an outlet for me to be a photographic artist but it is also a costly endeavor. I mention this mainly because in the past, I was not very choosey when it came to the individuals with whom I worked. I have worked with many great models but - truth be told - many have not met my needs. As a result, this has been a rather costly learning experience.
Therefore, my main objective in now is to stick with two types of individuals, the former being newer models with raw talent and passion for the art of modeling and the latter being experienced models who really truly desire a challenge in terms of posing. Beyond the challenge of posing in obscure, atypical ways, I pose the challenge of taking what we perceive as pretty and turning it on its head. I will say this as bluntly as possible. If you contact me without looking at my work, and have know knowledge of what and how I shoot, I please ask you to not contact me. A human ATM I am not. Any drive by solicitation of work will probably not receive a response.
A few Ground rules:
Expectations: If I show interest in you and message you to try to work together, even if you're not interested, please do me the courtesy of responding. I am a firm believer in the NO drama policy. A shoot is not set till it is confirmed by both parties and in order to do this, a location, date and time needs to be established. Please respect my time as much as you want your time to be respected. Confirming a shoot as little as 24 hours in advance is not acceptable. It's best to confirm at least a week in advance.
Check my references listed below to get an idea of how I work on our shoots. I believe in a no drama policy. I reserved the right to cut a shoot short if I'm not feeling there is as much effort being given as it is being put out by myself. As far as transportation goes, I'm willing to provided transportation to our shoot location and back on a case by case basis. It is not to be considered as part of our shoot time. The shoot starts from when the first shot is fired. If I am not ready to start on the agreed time set forth by both of us and the model is, the shoot starts then. Communication is key with me. If I don't receive a response back after two efforts to communicate with you, I will cease to consider you a shoot candidate. I will provide a number for texting once we have agreed on a date and time, for location information/ emergencies.
If you have contacted me to collaborate on a shoot, please be absolutely clear on your parameters of what you are bringing to the table as far as style of genre and your expectations of me.
Compensation: I prefer to collaborate on a TFP/TFCD (or Time for Skills) basis. I'm happy to pay "experienced" models, who have provide a unique look, incredible talent or the means to elevate my work to another level. This will be handled on a case by case basis.
I reserve the right to choose to send or withhold images if the model has already been compensated at the shoot.
Cancellations: I understand that there are moments when life gets in the way. This will be handled on a case by case basis. I take every effort to try and arrange my schedule to create with you. It is your responsibility to do the same. If you suspect that something may come up that will coincide with our shoot, I would like to know at least 2 days prior to the date. Be advised if a model is later than 30 minutes with out notification, I have the right to end the shoot without compensating the model. Also, if the model cancels 48 to 24 hours before the shoot, I expect to be reimbursed for any deposit I have paid for services pertaining to the shoot such as studio rental, MUA, etc. In the event of a no call no show, in which case all fees have been paid, I do expect full reimbursement for said costs unless other arrangements have been made between the two of us.
I look forward to working with many of you.
Disclaimer: I am horrible at spelling, punctuation, always using the wrong words or context and am all over the place in my thoughts. But I don't plan on writing letters. Just shooting people.

"He is so much fun! Everything was really laid back and I enjoyed the conversation. :) Also, love the photos!"
I know I put the Model Credits on the photos but I figure this would probably be a little bit better. All of these models rock!
