About MeIF I ADD YOU ON HERE, IT MEANS I'D LIKE TO SHOOT WITH YOU
I'm in Countryside, IL (South West Suburbs of Chicago, near LaGrange/Brookfield)
Let me know if you have any special talents and I'd love to try and make a shoot out of it. For example if you can play the piano and have access to a grand piano, I'd love to try and turn that into a shoot. I like to be creative and do interesting things rather than your typical glamour shots.
I like like the darker or more bizarre side of life, but I'm open to all kinds of shoots. And although I do all kinds of shoots, if you have an idea you want to try that requires leaving a studio or going off the beaten path, I'm that photographer. It's pretty difficult to scare me off with a shoot idea, so lay it on me.
That being said, blah blah blah, modeling is a career, so is photography. Let's Compare: The Model shows up for a shoot, looks pretty for a couple of hours, the end. The Photographer shows up for the shoot, and takes hundreds of photos with a camera that probably cost him/her at least $1000 (mines up to about $3000 now) then goes home takes the time to download the photos, then edits them in a copy of Photoshop that retails for $2000ish. Spending around 4 hours in edits alone. So what does this boil down to, I don't pay models unless I'm doing something for a calendar or magazine that is paying your fee and mine. If I'm not making money off of your photos, it's not likely I'm going to pay you. Translation, if you're not a professional super model, please don't say I want to do a shoot with you...and here are my rates, because I'll be more than happy to give you my rates in return.
However, just to throw it out there, I do have connections and other ways that I will sometimes (not always) pay models with. I own my own printing company and also am the President of The Offering heavy metal magazine and sometimes may need models for projects related to that or sometimes can line people up with other organizations related to. I can also trade professional business cards for your time if that's something you'd be interested in. I typically work with The Chicago Metal Alliance for their annual Calendar and I shoot with bands frequently, if we work well together, I will be more than happy to give a referral. Talk to me, and I can give you more details, but for the most part, I'm TFCD/P (Time for CD / Photos).
If I really like a photo I take I may make poster prints for purchase in which I'll split net profits with the model(s).
Many of my shoots are goth, metal, dark themed, etc, but I are not limited to them.
Current Shoots That I Want To Do
Implied Nudity: You may be nude on the set of the shoot, but nothing will show in the photos, unless you want it too.
Experimental: Meaning I have not worked with this medium in the past and am experimenting with it myself. Model should be someone with some free time and looking to have fun.
Tattoos (model would ideally have bright, colorful tattoos and wouldn't mind showing them off)
Pagan/Viking (kilt, war paint, the works)
Splatterfest (white lingerie splattered in blood with a big smile while holding an axe)
Phantom Of The Opera
Liquid Latex (experimental, implied nudity)
Body Paint (experimental, implied nudity/nudity) - This will be with a professional body painter, the cost to work with the body painter is $180, so I'd need lots of notice.
Motor Oil (experimental, implied nudity/nudity) - similar to body paint, but covered in motor oil.
Morbid Fairytales (Dark Versions (goth/alternative) of fairytales)
Wizard Of Oz (Wicked Witch of the West) -
Little Red Riding Hood
Snow White (need dark hair/very pale skin) -
Alice in Wonderland
Elizabeth Bathory shoot (bathtub full of blood)(partial/implied nude)(looking for a clawfoot bathtub.)
Salem Witch (not green with a long nose) (must be willing to get wet in a lake) -
Phantom Of The Opera
Someone to play Hanzel (Hanzel And Gretyl)
Salem Witch (Priest/Executioner)(Dressed in a black or brown robe, or possibly as a quaker if I can find the outfit)
