I'm a makeup artist just getting a foot in the door, a pan in the fire, or a toe in the waters, whichever metaphor you prefer :) My original talents skewed more towards acrylic painting, sketching, multimedia collage, but since I viewed makeup as just another form of art, I saw a different path to explore. I found that doing makeup for others, for their style and face types and preferences, provided a beautiful challenge, and a chance to learn and expand with every client. Every person's style and needs are unique, and I cherish that diversity. I also love teaching, as much as learning, and helping clients to continue techniques or colors they might not have used before but would like to. I haven't gone to a school for any certifications, but as soon as I'm able would like to, and for now I just want to get more experience and work with as many people, personalities, and situations as possible. I will do makeup for almost any event, shoot, style, theme, so on, for the experience. I'm just as comfortable with nudity or sexual themes as I am with conservatism and modest themes. I am good with wild and crazy, and good with natural and elegant.

I enjoy all sides of the fashion and modeling industry - I've loved modeling, I've enjoyed set design, photo editing and the fashion itself - both making clothes and putting together outfits. I love all of it. Still, makeup seems to be were I'm most comfortable. To be sure, if you need me to branch out at all if someone doesn't show up or you need help on the fly (even if its just holder of objects), I will do the best I can. When I'm on your team for a shoot, I'm there for you 100%. I do the best I can within my skills and limits, and aim to expand both during my time doing this. I hope to learn so much from all of you fellow artists and look forward to meeting some amazing people!

Thanks to the wonderful experiences and people I've had the pleasure of working with these past few years, I've been able to enjoy branching out into creative directorship, costume construction and design, and post-production work with concept design and helping organize and finalize a large concept (even a bit of bodypainting - I wont call myself a pro, but I'm certainly expanding my skills!). Working as a part of a team is a wonderful experience, and I will put in as many hours and days you need before we even step into a studio - to do brainstorming, prep, and creation of whatever is needed to make our ideas to come to life. The creative process is what I live for, and bouncing ideas back and forth and fine tuning our inspirations into a work of art is the greatest Job/Hobby I could ever ask for. Thank you to everyone who helps me live this dream!

Also, I do ask that Models have their own foundations for the shoots, I have yet to have a full supply of foundations for use in my kit, but no worries - I'll have everything else! If you need help picking a foundation, I will happily give you suggested brands or go with you to a store of your choice to help color match your skin and find the perfect foundation for you!
