60 years ago this week......The German High Command surrendered to the Allied Expeditionary Forces in Northern Germany on May 8th 1945

It was the end of the most horrible war mankind had seen on the lands of Europe it had stretched from Greenland to the outskirts of Moscow , the Scandinavian countries into Central and throughout Southern Europe into North Africa and the Balkans

It was a war that cost 55 million lives

Remember a WW2 vet today and give him a hug and also remember the people that gave their lives to stop the flag of the Nazi`s from flying over Europe
These veterans saved the world, then they are our Father`s our Grandfather`s or Great Grandfather`s...........remember them today
