Does anyone have any advice on studio hunting, particularly in Los Angeles?  I'm having trouble figuring out where to begin looking.

Studio glamourshoot Saturday at 1pm... four models... one hour from LA.  Details on my MM page...

Many MM studio owners (myself included) post periodic messages in the Marketplace forum.

I'm a photojournalist so most of my work is done on location, but it still would be nice to have some type of studio space.

After looking for a long time, I found a store front on Main Street in a town of 35,000. I would have liked more windows, but for $500 a month and 2-year lease, I'm content for now. The owner wanted a little over $600 and a minimum of a 5-year lease. I offered to take the place as it was, with no remodeling...4 days later I had the keys. It still needs a little work, but I've done several shoots already.
