This is a fantastic show and maybe in the top five shows on
along with Stargate SG1.  The stories are great and the acting
solid.

You're all wrong!

The new Doctor Who episodes are the best show on TV!

(Coming to the SCI-FI channel in March!)

The Wire is the best show on television followed by Battlestar Galactica.

Week before last was...kind of lame.  Not my favorite.  This week, SCAR, was fantastic.  I so love this show.  The best thing to come out of Canada since Molsen.

Never seen it. I don't have cable or really watch much TV either, lol. But for me it's Prisonbreak and Alias.

I remember I was a HUGE fan of Battlestar when I was a kid. I don't remember any of it, though (I wasn't even 6, I think) other than the silver/black troopers and Maren Jansen

I have to say for a SCI FI show this is really good.  Great FX, everyday dilemmas (running out of supplies),  and good character studies.

Love it!  Both the wife and I are hooked bad.  The only problem for us is we don't get that channel, so we have to wait for the next day and DL it from itunes.

Never got into BSG, but Stargate SG1 is my favorite show.  Dr. Who is coming to the SF channel?  Wow, that's news!  Hope it's good.  It will depend on who plays Who. I sense a new Abbot & Costello routine.

"Who's on the Sci Fi channel?"

"That's right."

"What's right?"

"Who's on the Sci Fi channel."

"That's what I just asked you!"

Wow, way to kill an otherwise great thread.  Yeah, I like BG and SG1.  Sign me up on the nerd list.

And, by the way, who wouldn't want to shoot with Six?  Damn, she's beautiful.

Oh c'mon!  Don't try and make me feel guilty.  Really I'm just trying to help you guys out.  You don't want to be members of the "Forty Year Old Virgin" Club - do you?  Women don't dig guys who can speak Klingon ,so put away your plastic model phasers and start doing some push-ups.

Surface.

I watched the original BSG series, and the new one is too dark, too mixed up, and too unlike the original to hook me.  On the other hand, SG1 since ShowTime, has been great.  And it's the only show SciFi has not managed to kill

Scott, sorry the new BSG wins hands down over the old one, coming from a kid who never missed an episode of the original.

This being said, here in Canada we just saw the episode from season 2 where

SPOILER ALERT FOR CANADIANS WHO DID NOT WATCH THE SATURDAY 4 MARCH AIRING

a new cylon is introduced - Lucy Lawless.

I broke out in the biggest ass grin when the "documentary" was playing the original theme as it's background music. hmmm... does that mean Galactica's march is actually the theme from the original? Asking becasue a deck hand is swabbing while whistling the march.
