BEWARE with this profile...........weird e-mail?

Then again, there are always cases of copywrite infrigement and the such floating all over the net and beyond. I'm not saying this is the case...maybe she is their new "spokesmodel" since her profile says she is exclusively doing spokesmodel work (I still am laughing over that). This whole ordeal kind of reminds me of those prowlers over the net that talk girls from chat rooms into getting naked on webcams. I have heard of this all too often. I had even had people try to get me to do the same...I was smart, though, and could tell it was just a scam, dupe, or just some sick perv who wanted to see a half-naked girl. It just pains me to see some of these younger girls (and guys, too) get either suckered into a scam, or worse, they get involved with what they think is a photographer or promoter, and they get hurt physically. I just want to help minimize that. So, if I have a personal experience with a situation such as previously mentioned, or I find evidence of a scam, etc., then I will do all I can to help keep that from happening to anyone else. Jun 20 05 08:28 pm Link well the whole this just triggered several red flags for me so I decided to just get to the point and start asking questions, I'm not calling anybody anything just yet. But Yeah it sounds really suspicious and that's why I decided to e-mail the photographer who's copyright appears on the images posted. I consider it a professional courtesy not unlike the initial post that warned how this whole thing looked a little strange. Jun 20 05 08:30 pm Link it's a good thing you are doing this courtesy, RF. I can tell you that if anyone sends me those pictures requested I can have some very real-looking pictures of them doing things with dogs that they would never even think of doing, all in less than 2 weeks and I'm by no means a "Poser" expert... so MODELS BEWARE. I can also tell you that those emails are anything but professional. The spelling and grammar an a complete embarrassement as is the language used, not to mention that he talked in circles and wound up saying nothing coherent in any of them... and this was noticed by someone for whom English is a 2nd language!!! If you don't really like what is being said in the forums don't read them or respond just take it with a grain of salt and chuck it into the memory banks. Remember a REAL photographer has REAL reasons to shoot with you. ASK WHY AND WHAT is the reason if there is NO valid answer. Then I guess you should look else where to shoot. The real Question you need to ask yourself is HOW will shooting with the photographer make you 1. more money later 2. will I get good enuff photos from him. 3. Is he able to promote YOU some how either on a REAL website and NOT a personal wow I am a GWC look I take pretty photos website. 4. will you be able to use the photos to promote yourself. Think about it. How is sending SELF made crappy photos to some dude on the net without a RELEASE or some paper work of some sort going to HELP you to be a better Model. We can not in good faith allow stuff like this to happen to anyone on the net......it just hurts us all in the long run. We all have to look out for each other and use our brains and common sense to help others....because there are some very naive and gullible people out there...that will be taken hook line and sinker by folks like these if we let them.
