i was just wondering if the kind of work i do is appealing? if it is worth peoples time to be in such conceptual pictures, if they would want to.

Ah, yes- I just posted a response on your other thread about how your gf doesn't like it.
And again, I mus say - I am enamored with your work. When you publish something, i'll be buying it wink

I'm going to have evry bad dreams now....

But yes, your work has a market, and I would think a very well paying one once it is found.

I do really like the style as well....

It doesn't do anything for me and it certainly doesn't help the model with her book.

Interesting point. Even though, it may not add to to the models book, it does show some nice depth I give it an A+

Ryan, I see nothing at all wrong with your work.  I find it very moody, yet very artistic.  As far as the girlfriend is concerned, I can't tell you what to do about her. Its a pitty she cannot apreciate your creative eye.  Do yourself a favor, and don't let her alter your crative talents, even though it is always advisable to try new things to add to your book, you are on the right road. It looks like you have found your niche, though, so if you want to add, then add, but don't change who you are and how you express yourself in your photography.

Keep up the good work

Kevin

There is absolutly nothing with your work and its your style. Your images give off a very unique emotion, which almost reminds me of the movie from the ring or something you would find in a picture frame of the texas chainsaw massacre

I think the true test of your work is to see how well your new book sells. I hope it sells like Harry Potter, and you are rolling in cash.

When you ask a direct question to the forum viewers, they will often tell you what you want to hear.

Its not my style but I see the value in it.  This is the kind of work people will actually spend money on. You're an artist, no doubt about it.

I do think it's  better (even though not my style) then most the stuff I see on the internet.

I agree with Paul as I often find myself doing, but I also see a value to art.

Model portfolio shots follow a simple template that a computer could execute correctly.

Art speaks of emotion and human experience.

Ryan, I like what I see on your MM prof, I’m a fan of shadows and dark images.
I like anything that’s cutting edge, different or one of a kind.

Don't change you to fit what other perceive you as. I shoot what I like and what I feel, my photos are raw and edgy because that’s what I like.
