Adamantium Claws
I had this crazy idea to do a Wolverine shoot......but does anyone know of any PS tutorials that show how to do his claws? May 30 09 07:39 pm Link No, but I shot his doppleganger Monday. May 30 09 07:45 pm Link I can think of ways to do it, but I think the best result would be to do a composite of a real picture of them and use some plastic ones or something to take the place of them to shoot it May 30 09 07:50 pm Link This may not be what you are looking for, but someone I know recently bought a pair of Wolverine Claws off of Ebay. I just did a quick search and saw one pair for $59.00. It is not photoshop, but may be quicker and less hair pulling. I hope it all goes well for you. My guess is you would need to make a steel texture. Then create a shape matching the blades and clip the texture to that shape. Then you will need to add shadows and highlights to make them appear metallic. Bert Monroy is really known for this kinda stuff. I'm a big fan too. Here are a videos for you to check out.
