While Big C is correct that it is a public venue with lots of people around, please feel free to bring an escort, a boyfriend, a girlfriend, your mom, whoever you would like to bring if that makes you feel more comfortable.

Keep in mind it is a social setting. Lots of glad handing and passing out cards (Remember to bring lots of cards to hand out) so whoever you bring needs to not be a hinderance to your socializing. You don't want to be monopolized by a boyfriend in the corner or something. You want to meet lots of new people and try to make as many contacts as possible!
