Oct 19 09 12:17 pm Link So who's up for some fire dancing (haha not real fire Adam!) If you all aren't up on your 1920s peep show/pin up, I fill you in on something I love about the period. They used to have girls dance will real fire in pointed bottom urns. I came up with a way to simulate that kind of effect without the threat of live flames!! I made some cones and covered them with mirrored tiles and then bought some flame-looking floral pieces and put them together. I think it will be so freaking fun!! I also made the "gold" crown-like head pieces that the dancers would wear. They are not exact replicas but I think they will photograph nicely. If they don't we will at least feel the parts!! i am not gonna post images it will be a nice surprise or shock! lol hehe-- i feel like a little elf stitching and pounding away here!!
