After the fantastic time we had there at our last shootout in June, we’re coming back to the "Mansion" at Pound Ridge again on Sunday, August 15th.

This private estate is an incredible location. There are amazing places to shoot all around this HUUUUUGE house.

Want a giant indoor pool enclosed by an awesome glass atrium - you got it.
Want a giant marble hot tub in the middle of the pool – of course.
Want that hot tub to have a waterfall - why the hell not.
Want it to have torches that shoot flames - check and check.

And that's just the indoor pool area  smile

There are what seems to be a countless number of rooms, including a colorful music room, a living room with great furniture, a bar, a long hallway with an awesome row of windows, twisting stairs, balconies galore, two saunas, a gym and... and... and... whew... I should stop myself here. I think I'm starting to feel something moving in my pants  J

Let's just say that there are a LOT of places to shoot both indoors and out... a LOT... and all the places are picturesque, and all of them are bright.

The owner of the house is a builder who happens to be a pretty kick ass photographer.  When he was designing the house he did it with a photographic eye and with images in mind, and it shows.

Huge windows are everywhere. The house is incredibly bright and is a wet dream for a natural light shooter like me. I've shot there a few times now and some of my favorite and best images are from that house.  And i am not alone in loving that place.  Everyone from Maxim to Penthouse has shot there. MTV and Playboy held parties there. It truly is a "magazine quality" type of a location.

but enough drooling about this place... for now smile

Here are the details:

Sunday, August 15th.  Noon to 8pm (yes, 8 hours).  Six amazingly beautiful models.  A small ,exclusive, group of 10 photographers max. Promotional model releases included. "Rolling Instruction" provided by Stephen Eastwood and myself.

Cost to attend is $500.  $450 for "attendees" aka "lucky bastages" smile (those who attended any of our previous events).

Please email me at pashaphoto@gmail.com to book, and with any questions you may have.

In case mm goes down, the mirror thread is here.

I am observant of cute things and sexy things!

Its a gift really  big_smile

And I should be around in the pool room (where the AC blasts away) and will setup a good lighting setup (speedlites maybe)  for people to swing by and play with.

Though I expect the house will be cooler this time around.

AC will be ON !!!!

those who attended this sunday, will scream for joy when reading this smile

we will, however, have to remember to keep closing doors, especially to the pool... otherwise all that cold air will escape in a heartbeat, and we will be all sweating our bawlz off again smile

Why are we afraid of sweating? I thought we are all bringing swimming gears (smile)

lineup is slowly starting to get set...

definitely coming back - Cathrin, Stefaniya, Aleona, and Oksana... Tanya, who was the new face at the last shootout i definitely want back... and Alina has made the jump up from the "newbie division" into the majors, and is on the lineup smile

Marketa is most probably coming back too borat it's just a question of syncing up scheds, and making sure that she's back from Europe before the 15th... she should be smile

that's 7 so far... 3 spots left...

Olga and Anna are both under consideration, and so is Zhanna who was the other newbie at our last shootout...  if i book all three, the lineup would be set now, but since we still have plenty of time, i don't plan to rush... smile

ok... so i've been thinking about this for a long time, but never quite had the courage to actually do it...

as i already mentioned in the last thread, i will make my first attempt at teaching at this shootout...

that's right, you bastages... i will actually attempt to teach...

may god help you people smile

i plan to cover 3 setups... the hallway, the bar, and the bedroom... i'll ask Stephen to watch over me as i'm teaching to make sure that i don't accidentally teach you guys some of my many, many, MANY bad habits smile

I'll try to look for it, but it is going to be difficult.

Can you ask the owner if he has any vase in the house?
A small one that can hold by both hands.
For example, the one on the left side of this picture

(laugh)I am telling you....prop rental business must make a killing in model photography business.  The possibility is almost endless.

I did find a sword rental site in Virginia.
http://www.preferredarms.com/
Too bad I already shot the sword and I do not think they have bow and arrow.
