1 am, and i just got home... loooooooong day smile

i want to thank all of you guys for coming... we had a small, but really great group of photographers today...

the models were fantastic... the girls worked their little asses off, and i cannot say enough good things about how great they all looked, how well they styled themselves, and how easy it was for all the photographers to work with them... you girls were amazing smile

all the newbies were a very pleasant surprise... all of them looked great and did a fantastic job... i want to make sure to extend a special thanks to the newbies for working so hard for no money... you girls did great smile

a HUGE thank you to Stephen Eastwood without whom these shootouts would not be possible... and, of course, let's not forget our crew of honorary "reflector bitches" - Benny, Eugene and Anthony smile

and, of course, i want to make sure to thank Carl for letting us use his place again, and for being such a generous and wonderful host...

i hope everyone had a great time and got plenty of kick ass shots to add to their portfolios smile

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE FOR YESTERDAYS SHOOTOUT.  IN MY OPINION IT WAS A HUGE SUCCESS!!!!

To the models that showed up, as always we applaud your efforts, your hard work and being placed in crazy sexy poses in high heels.  To the people that didn't show up, karma is a bitch baby!  The people you most rely on in life will eventually fail to be there when you need them.......and now you'll know why.

To the newbie models, I love you all...you handled your new career interest with style grace and professionalism and most importantly...YOU SHOWED UP, which in modeling is 80% of the job.  Keep that work ethic no matter how long your working in the biz and you will go places.

To the return models, I am humbled as always by your grace beauty and ability to get it right every single time and make it look easy.  To be able to keep that smile when us photographers say "one more shot" when you know darn well we are lying through our teeth and there is really 20 more shots....lol

To the professionals who are there to answer every single question no matter how newbie they seem like, "why is my shot coming out dark, Oh yeah the lens cap is on...." and don't judge us for it or make us feel like idiots... It wouldn't be the same event without your guidance and know how, you add so much value to this event which sets it apart from any other in my opinion.

And lastly to the person responsible for us having a kick ass pad to shoot in.....you sir are one awesome individual!!!! As well as the kick ass pad owner.

Thanks Pasha......in case you were wondering I had a blast....LOL

Oh and lastly I forgot to mention, to the other shooters who helped me on any of the shots I put together by adding to it rather than just click their cameras to get a shot for themselves, just because they knew maybe I was missing some small detail that will help my shot....you are truly a pro when you can put your own needs aside for the greater good of another shooter...thats respect!!!

And of course to BENNY....thanks for resuming your title as REFLECTOR BITCH...your support impacted some great shots to be soon seen....your rock man!!!

A big thanks to all who attended!  Stefaniya and I had a blast and it seemed like you all did as well!

To all of you who are not aware, we have a forum, and a dedicated attendees only section for those who have attended a workshop/lecture/shootout to share what you learned, ask about post work, show what you did and ask questions, or just BS.

http://www.StephenEastwood.com/forum    when you join there are several levels, to see the attendee forum, email pasha or myself to be upgraded to attendee status.

Trying to get Alina's impression of Kamiya Kaoru in "Ruronin Kenshin".

Thanks to Eugene for telling me to tie the belt knot on the back, not the front.  Otherwise, Alina will be a "geisha" (urhhhhhh)

Finally got to retouch one.  Could not get the color of the grass to work with the yukata so here it is in BW.  What do you think?
