I can tell you from experience that the Disney folks don't like airplanes flying over their Magic Kingdom. Some years ago, I was with a group on a flight with Tom Reilly. We flew within sight of the Magic Kingdom in a B-25. Not over the park, just within sight of the park. When we got back to Kissimmee Airport, the FAA and Kissimmee PD were waiting for us. Fortunately, Reilly used his considerable influence(?) to keep us all out of jail for what Disney called "violating their airspace."

Maybe David Caton's pilot will get arrested...

Like I said, corporate dicks..  I'm sure Walt is rolling over in his grave..  I can't see this being something they did while he was in charge...  Sounds more like an Eisner move..

The article quotes Paul Queen, director of marketing for OrlandoGayTravel.com.

Do you suppose he is using his real name?

Working this weekend. Selling movie tickets. Kinda fun.

Tom Cruise Rock of Ages is playing.
I wonder if anyone will actually buy a ticket to see it.

So I guess Jesse is driving to Prague as we speak
Prague has the distinction of being THE number 1 city in all the world of the 32 countries that I have visited for having THE MOST HOOKERS

I was solicited more times from my car to my hotel than in ANY other city in the world. And when I got in the lobby there were 50 hookers all sitting around just waiting

This all started after 911. Public places with loads of Americans are supposed to be good terrorist targets and there was lost of talk and worry right after 911 and they restricted the airspace over it.

I think Disney used that as a means to end fly overs from tourist choppers and the like. HOWEVER there is a waiver one can obtain for temporary entrance within the Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFR) areas established for Disneyland and Disney World Theme Parks...

Notice it says established FOR Disney and not BY Disney... The Government set this up supposedly, not Disney... SUPPOSEDLY wink

TSA website tells all about it:
