Sir: with due respect, if you worked on your exposure and lights...you will make a lot more than whatever you are making. You capture moments beautifully. But with your lights, shadows and exposure I will be hard pressed to pay you much.

I don't really shoot freelance smile. for commercial agencywork, it's much higher actually :p (but that also includes fees and stuff, and clients have bigger budgets)

not sure what you mean by promotional work actually...

May I ask how much is your current rate - I want to know where did I go wrong in my assessments. As the others will tell you here...I am darned close.

Usually $100/ hour. Then again I'm in Australia where everything is higher. My rates are comparable with other art nude models here. It's working for me so far smile

If you can replicate the avatar look - probably a million. But in reality
Promotional work: $70/hr

Commercial work: $90/hr.  Is it close to your normal rates?

Improve on your lights and shadows - you can make more as you have originality. At the present level - a flat rate of $50/hr.

For the crew cut hair - it is lingering at about $35/hr flat rate....BUt you have the potential of making about $ 75/hr....Grow your hair girl - that will go well with your persona.

Unique yet one dimensional style...you excel in that....But lack variety...so probably only $ 50/hr flat rate unless you diversify.

I'm thinking to shifting over to "the dark side" (that's a joke) and start charging, this topic really came at a perfect time. Suggestions?

YOu gonna be my first one as a retoucher. I would like to showcase some with changed background, Changed major blemishes etc. I know you can do that but it does not show in your port...

So with that in mind I wont pay you more than $ 3/pic

Thanks
