1976 Buick Skyhawk. This was during the time when American cars were, for the most part, terrible. The big three had become sloppy and greedy and they just didn't build truly reliable cars. At the same time Honda and Toyota gave us reliable cars at decent prices.

If you just saw off the top half of it, this car could become a decent 90ies style convertible.

That's the only way I see of salvaging it.

Here's another car.

Smart cars manage to have a whole lot of hideous in a little package, but they do serve a function.

Cadillac Cimarron (sp?).

There was a period when the Corvette had no design charm.

Oh, I think the Aztek was designed by Nike.

The Nissan Juke.

To me it looks like a Jelly Bean after someone put it in their mouth, decided it was a flavor they didn't like, and spit it out.

About 20 years ago, I can't remember if it was Hot Rod or Car Craft magazine, but they did a series called "dare to be different".  Everyone and their brother has or knows someone who had a Camaro, Mustang, Charger, Corvette, Grand National, GS, GTO, Chevelle, Nova, Firebird, Impala, etc etc.  The purpose of this article was to highlight those who did something different ...

There were people with Studebakers, Desotos, Packards and many other things that a person doesn't see on the road every day.

It's true that some of these cars aren't pleasing to the eye, but it sorta makes them pleasing to me.  I'd have never known some of them existed otherwise.

Thing is, youve posted the much more attractive emergency redesign of the Aztek. The original was much worse!

Some fantastically ugly cars here. Of the ones I have driven, my niece's Nissan Juke gets my vote. WTF with the lights on top of the hood?? You can see them while you are driving, lol.

It would also be a strong competitor in the worst car names category.
