Got this message through my website and am not sure what to make of it..

"I shoot lingerie, topless, body paint, nude, erotic, and POV. I shoot stills and video. I do pay cash based on content at the end of each days shoot. I have been shooting for 14 years and as a widowed Dad I do have my daughter at shoots as my assistant ( When allowable ) for over a year. She is 12 and has started modeling also. You can, if you want to, incorporate her in some sets, or help her to model solo sets, I am sure she would be happy to have a good mentor. Let me know if you are interested and when you may be available to shoot. I have messenger also with this email address. Thank you ,"So and So"

Uh, I don't want to believe that a little 12 yr old girl is doing the stuff he's talking about, and his daughter nonetheless.

Yes, I was gonna write back, but I'd have no idea what to say. I was hoping he didn't mean he was doing some kind of kiddie porn or something...just freakin weird.

Maybe he just has bad grammar and what he meant was when appropriate style of shoots permit, he has his daughter as his assistant. If not, then not only would I CAM him, I'd report him to the authorities.

In all seriousness, if I received such an email, I would print it out and take it to the police. If his 12yo daughter is even in the building where he's shooting POV... It's something for them to look into.

I was really hoping I could give him the benefit of the doubt, like you said. I read it at first as "when allowable" like when her mother doesn't have custody of her or something since he said he's divorced. I wonder if I should email him back and probe more before I took more action?

Ask him what type of shoot he'd want to do with you and if his daughter would be present.

There is nothing in his list that I would "allow" a 12 year old to assist with.
I personally wouldn't like a 12yo modeling anything except maybe kids clothes for a magazine or just kid stuff.

Edit: It states also he is widowed, not divorced.

I'd say go with your gut, but be clear and keep it neutral if you do.  Something on the order of "Based on your message, I'm a little unclear about your daughter's role in your work.  Could you please clarify for me?"  Plus whatever greetings or thank you's you want to add, you know.

he didnt say hes divorced..he said he's widowed.. Which means the mother has died sadly...
Atleast thats what the OP says..

Besides that point.. If this guy is on MM.. Report him to a mod and I'd send that message to the police or something.. If he's offering his daughter to do or even witness those types of shoots then what the hell may he be doing to or with her when noone is around? https://assets.modelmayhem.com/images/smilies/scary.pngthought....

but I really hope it was bad wording or a misunderstanding in wording...
maybe ask a few more questions by what he meant when he said his daughter can join in or watch....

Uh, I don't want to believe that a little 12 yr old girl is doing the stuff he's talking about, and his daughter nonetheless.

This creep contacted me a while back through a fake facebook account, and though I ignored him he kept pushing me to shoot sexy with said 12 year old. Asking me to pick inappropriate outfits from some lingerie site for her to wear. Amelia, I'd block this guy immediately if you haven't already.

I'm not trying to give him the benefit of the doubt. He lost that the minute he mentioned his 12 year old daughter in the same communication with a request for that type of content.

What I am trying to figure out is why anyone would feel the need to mention their daughter or assistant at all, regardless of age. But when I put it all together - seeking models, widowed, 12 year old daughter, the word "mentor" he's not looking for a model as much as he's looking for a new baby mama...

One who is into POV erotica while his little girl is in the next room (or worse).

I'm not one to overreact but I would continue communication just enough to provide to Child Services so they can at least check this guy out.

Beyond creepy.

OK, how do you get a message like that and not print the document and share that with authorities? That's not someone you block. That's someone you report. Shame on you.

Yes, and, I think the FBI is probably more appropriate than the police.
It's so easy to just pick up the phone and call the FBI office. Also if it's some kind of FBI probe into whatnot, it's a good opportunity to let them have a piece of your mind to keep their sleezy stuff away from you.

With further information given in this thread, please, please print this out and report this guy.

Sometimes they can't do much with one report, but who knows, maybe you'll be the second or third to come forward and they'll be able to find him and do something.

According to the communication Jordan had with the guy, it's actually worse than you thought.

I would recommend doing what you can to get enough info and report this guy IMMEDIATELY. Every minute wasted is another minute he has to exploit and endanger her safety. And who knows how many of these shoots he's already done since it sounds like a regular occurrence.

Yeah, I accidentally thought it was divorce not widowing..
I really hope it's just wording. I'm going to be writing to him to get some clarification. I'm scared to hear that what I'm thinking is true, but thinking about my little sister or other little girls doing work like that is too much to think about and he needs to get found out if it is true

I didn't block, so shame on you for assuming, lol. I litereally just got to the email. I posted here for help on what actions to take. I have never gotten an email like this before and wasn't sure how to go about finding more info and/or reporting the guy since I only had an email.
Jordan bunnie said above that she got countless emails from this guy, and another photographer said he sends this to many models, which leads me to believe he's either  never been told on, or just keeps coming back. I dunno what to believe, and wonder how he keeps sending these emails out

I talked to a friend of mine who works at the police station, they said with just an email from a fake FB account there was nothing they could do. I didnt have an outside email, proof of a real name, no phone number, no proof there even is a 12 year old daughter. Nada. There's not much I could have done.

OK, thanks for clarifying and I didn't mean to jump on you and shouldn't have assumed you did nothing.

This thread has become really troubling. I can't imagine the FBI couldn't easily track the guy's IP Address or investigate further.

I will say that explanation is riddled with holes. Are they saying they need proof before they will even look into it further even though they have in writing a guy making claims like that?

Even if they turned out to be bogus claims...that needs to be addressed. I think the FBI or Child Services would be able to investigate it more effectively.

There was a thread on here a while back, I believe about the same guy. Other than that I haven't heard anything else about this guy.
He said he wanted her to get into modeling and to help him pick out some "super sexy" outfits from the site he linked for her to wear.

They can at least track his IP Address, which is just as good as a home address unless he's using a Proxy switcher or something (doubtful).

This guy doesn't sound like he's exactly trying to be discreet. Ask him his phone number or address and full name and I'm sure he'll give it to you. Or maybe you should just refer it to an agency and not immerse yourself in that type of creep-dom.
