Less than 5 minutes into the 2nd & the Sharks have already gotten 2 past Jonathan Quick.

Very interesting.

Very interesting.

At times, watching the Kings play is like watching them unload produce trucks at a Wal-Mart.  Someone was bound to crack that sooner or late, 'eh?

I don't think so.  "A win is still a win!"

Sharks find a way to even the series!

This is where it gets interesting.  wink

Have the Rangers (apart from Lundqvist) turned up at all this series?!

It's not about a win still being a win...that goal should have counted...even the commentators and studio guys say it should have.  Bad call.

Sad....seems other than 1994 the Rangers are where goal scorers vaporize in the playoffs, and this goes back to when I started following them in 1978/79

They should trade Lundqvist to the lightning so at least my other team has a chance to win it all,
Their fire power and a world class goalie would mean multiple cups

Pens crush Sens. I'm really surprised at Pascual Dupuis in these playoffs.
Good to see Iginla doing well also.

Rick Nash is anonymous, Brad Richards a healthy scratch (bold move by Tortorella but if its the kick up the ass they need, so be it)

Pens vs Bs conference final would be juicy though.

& the Rangers tie it back up.

Looks like they're playing like the playoff lives depend on it tonight.

Towes should just stay in the box for the rest of the game.
3 penalties all pretty much back-to-back.

Gooooooooo wings!

There's so much East coast bias in the commentary and awards. Quick and Niemi have been putting on a goaltending clinic! It's tough to score on these guys!

That said, Let's go Kings!

Very physical play too!  Some of those hits had to have been felt by the spectators as well!  Even Niemi got mowed down at one point ... a Sharks player was said to have helped push the King player along though.   This series has been an example of great goaltending on both sides, defense and some hard hitting too.  I only wish that Torres wasn't suspended!  He might have made a difference in this series ... in fact, I'm sure he would have.  Go Sharks!  Make it a 7 game series!  wink

Nothing so apparent as after last nights games.
7th seed Wings push the President Trophy boys to the brink of extinction, & schooled them, no less. Ought be top story, right?

No...look at the sports sites, most all had the Fangers last gasp death rattle win, already down by 3-0, as their lead story.

As long as the Penguins are top story after they win the Cup I'll be happy wink

Gotta say I didn't know that James Neal is 3rd in goals for past 2 years after Ovie and Stamkos. Lot easier to remember after his hat trick tonight.

Pens are rolling! Scoring 4+ goals in 9 of 11 playoff games. Amazing...

Rangers will be done. Time for golf and for Torts to get his resume in order.

Wings have been quite a surprise, but if anyone can come back, it's Chicago. The stars have to get rolling though, and quick!

Kings move on. Sad because the Sharks have some really talented players but just can't get things going against LA's defense, and when they do, Quick shuts them down.

Goaltending has, for the most part, been pretty amazing all around this year. Really enjoying all these series!

Lundqvist deserves to be progressing this post-season for some of his displays, it's almost criminal how much the team in front has let him down.

I'd like to see the Rangers come back and end up playing the Penguins (even if i could perhaps safely predict the outcome), but realistically I think it'll be a Pens/Bruins eastern final.

If anyone knows Playoff Hockey it's Detroit. Blackhawks have the skill to get back into it but it depends if the Wings give them the room to do it. I wouldn't bet on it.
