Where can I find light weight chainmail for a shoot? Drink up... Jul 04 15 06:22 am Link Went to a car show at a Hooters up in Sanford this morning. An OK show. Most of the cars were less than 10 years old though. I didn't bother showing mine because it needs a bath. But, man was it ever hot! How hot was it, Johnny? It was so hot I can't answer the question. After about half an hour I was on my way home. You know, mad dogs and Englishmen... Jul 05 15 01:06 pm Link Chain Mail... Jul 28 15 07:06 pm Link What's with all the MM activity lately? We were on page two after only a few days... And how the hell is it August already? Aug 01 15 02:30 am Link To follow up on the several posts made about the portfolio building workshop, here is a recap: The event went well; we had the number of photographers we wanted, nine. This allowed us to have a team of three shooters with each model, with only one person of the team of three shooting for a set period of time, then next shooters, then wardrobe change.. There were three sets - white cyc wall (corner) , corner with brick on one wall, reclaimed wood on the other, and a wall with barn door made of rustic wood. Each set had two strobes, one diffused and one hard; two of the sets had soft boxes, the other had beauty dish. We wanted the participants to see and work with the differing effects of the various types of light sources. All in all it went well and the participants all seemed to be thrilled with the results of what they learned and the images they created. Here is a short vid made by Syrena, one of the models, to show some of what took place. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M_bShCL … =youtu.be. Aug 01 15 03:26 am Link Thanks Charles! I had a lot of fun at the workshop and making the video. So glad to have finally met you! All my Tampa peeps, stay safe and stay dry! Xo Aug 04 15 12:49 pm Link Charles Howse wrote: Very nice!
