Playing the role of a martyr asking for critique ("My port sucks... but what do you think?") doesn't really help get gigs. Appearing sad and vulnerable may work to score with the ladies in bars, but Model Mayhem really isn't the right place for it.

If you think your port is bad, then connect with decent photographers and make it better.
