OK randomly last night typed in youtube search "is the Moon fake?"

and was surprised to find tons  of videos on the subject.

Do people really, honestly think this?

Longest one was by David Icke and I sat through the whole video and regretted it afterwards. Just why? Why would you even believe this?

The Moon has been considered fake for 500 years.

O, swear not by the moon, th' inconstant moon,
That monthly changes in her circle orb,
Lest that thy love prove likewise variable.

i grew up with the belief that man landing on the moon was fake,  it doesn't seem so far fetched that many believe the moon to be fake.

My best friend believes there's a group of people who live underground and secretly control the world.

I have a former coworker who posts long rants on facebook about the "chemtrails" that are perpetrated by the government to destroy people's health, and then post pictures of these supposed chemtrails -- They're condensation from airplanes.

.....so, yeah....people believe in all kinds of shit.

I don't like getting him started on all his reasons why he believes it.

You'll never get away from it, and you can't really say much in response.

We've kind of just agreed to disagree on those topics, and just not talk it.

It's farfetched to believe that the moon-landings were faked. It's not farfetched to believe there's a lot of stupid people out there.

no need to. they are as wacky as any conspiracy nuts out there. maybe even more so. but their denial of facts and actual science pales in comparison to the folks like this thread is mentioning. most 911 nut jobs would probably admit the moon is real.

All I can saw to the OP is that you aren't very well informed
I can top this level of ignorance from several news stories from the last few years
I think my #1 is the town that burned woman to death for Witchcraft

OMG its seems this is a more common occurrence than I thought

The moon is fake.  In fact everything you think you know and believe is mere fiction.

Solipsism.

What if everything's inside of your head?
Just creations of you own.
The Devils and the Gods
All the living and the dead.
And you're really all alone.

The moon most certainly is NOT fake.

I have been to the moon several times. Flown around it several times, walked on its surface several times.

It is a simple matter of projecting my non-corporeal psychic energy outside my body and traveling to anyplace my mind can imagine, at the speed of light. 7-8 seconds to the surface of the moon, and all the wonders you can imagine.

.......and no, I dont belive I can travel to the moon and my mind is pretty much stuck here.......but there are a lot of folks who believe far more outlandish things.

I leave this jungle every night ... through the dreams that come with cheese.

I'm skiing in France!  I'm flying a boat!  I'm turning tricks in Chad!  Cheese dreams!

I worked with a guy who was absolutely certain the moon landings were faked on a sound stage.  He would tell the story of his brother in the Navy, who was part of a covert operation used make sure the rockets in the Atlantic ocean were destroyed and sunk shortly after "lift off" and then put the Astronauts and their capsule in the Pacific so the regular Navy could pick them up after "splashdown".  He claimed his brother died in a questionable car accident shortly after he told him and others about it all being faked.  The whole thing was a ruse to make the Soviets think we had the technology to go to the moon and cause them to fear the military applications of such technology.

I wish I knew where he is now so I could ask him if the Moon is fake too.  LOL

You should google everything, and always add the word "prolapse" to it, and make it a a google images search.
