It's 10:19 in the morning and I haven't slept yet.  Went partying last night and for some reason I can't sleep.  I was bored, so I made this...

let me know what you think.

Ugh, I have a shoot in less than 4 hours.  I better take a nap while I can.

I must be either a male from another planet or simply that at 62 few things excite me. These photographs repel me for several reasons.

1. Because of my other planetary origin I have never understood the attraction of girl on girl. Only in the US would anybody make headlines over a woman kissing another woman on the lips.

2. I am turned off by the too warm colours. They remind me perhaps of those Penthouse spreads where we men of North America first saw that in fact women were pink.

3. I don't understand the idea of using two blondes that look alike yet are not twins.

4. But what really turns me off is that kissing is such a intimate art and I cannot figure out why there is eye contact here.

5. One of the reasons I avoid weddings like the plague is that I feel so saddened and repelled when at the reception dinner the bride and groom are forced to kiss every time one bangs the silverware on a glass.

6. I am sure that Udo and the other members of the Gang of Three would aprove of these four images as an avatar as there is no nudity. The reason they would approve is that taste (as in good taste) cannot be learned. You have it or you don't.

Alex, stripper porn is the purpose of this site.

It's the ones who don't shoot it who are out of place here.

One thing about VM that I have to admire...he does not apologize and in fact celebrates that certain adolescent male mentality, and is actually capable of translating it to film. Hey, everyone looks like they are having fun. I like kissing girls...

Lapis is right about VM.

This is marketing for him. He knows exactly what the consequences of posting this image will be.

He also knows that any attention is good attention. Notice how many other critique requests get ignored?

I thought we decided yesterday that boredom is in the eye of the beholder, and boobies are the gateway to the soul.

That's what I decided anyway.

Not so long ago I got a private mail from a female model that pretty well said what Lapis has said here. What troubled me about the model's message is that she thought the best option was to do nothing and shun the photographers in question if they ever approached them for shooting. So you can really not define these women as silent lurkers who rarely write their objections or opinions to what I would consider bad taste woman bashing. They are not lurkers as they have simply given up trying. I am saddened by it. Every time anybody, like the present thread creator, puts stuff like this I will be sucked in even if I know I am being sucked in.

How about tongueing each other?

2. I am turned off by the too warm colours. They remind me perhaps of those Penthouse spreads where we men of North America first saw that in fact women were pink.

Pornstars deserve warm colors because they are all nice and warm inside.

3. I don't understand the idea of using two blondes that look alike yet are not twins.

So you're saying that you wouldn't get turned on if you saw 2 hot blonde chicks that looked like each other making out?  How about 2 blonde guys?  Would that help you?  lolz

I think you think too much.

I WISH I got that. I was just summarily told that one of my pictures was 'banned' from being a main, but they left it in the portfolio because it wasn't too much of a spread? But they only told me that months later when I bitched about getting a showcase. then they threw me a showcase to shut me up. F*ck it. I am putting all my erotica back up there.

I am sure you also know the 'rule' that you can show quite a bit more p*ssy, etc, if the picture is in b&w. I have seen some b&w 'art' shots, that are wayyyy to much if they were color. Damn, since penthouse got so lame, there are pictures on both these sites that are harder core. Just gotta look for them...and then don't mention it to the mods...

I've never understood that.

Why is B&W art and color porn?

I see plenty of color shots that are art and B&W that is porn to me.

If people see a p*ssy in color, they are much more likely to want to lick it.

B&W is inherently more abstract than color.  When your purpose is to sexually excite someone, abstraction is usually not the way to do it.

Of course there are exceptions.

Like smart people that understand erotica vs. porn and know the difference isn't the color range? I collect erotic art, but I don't get off to it. It just makes my life fun to see beautiful expressions of sexuality.

Well, than makes perfect sense. I guess I've seen too much hot B&W stuff so it gets me as excited as color would, provided it's actually exciting in some way.

To me there is something about the fantasy and abstraction that can be erotic in and of itself.

Isn't your new slogan something like "where the images tell the story" or some BS smile just curious since my 9 year old nephew could set up this lighting, so talented!

Model Mayhem isn't an art gallery after all.

Never heard of Jeff Koons or various others including Salavodor Dali and Mark Kostabi who used the same techniques in galleries.

Wow!  Your 9 year old nephew has more talent than you do!  You should have him be your assistant.  Maybe then, your images won't look like crap... mister natural lighting because I'm too poor to afford studio lights.  Hell, at least buy a fill flash for your outdoor shots, you dipshit.

I think it was Dali's wife Gala that was in charge of marketing, but you're right. The first painting he sold in America, Gala charged more for the frame than the painting just so he would know who was running the show.

I think these pictures are offensive.  There are plenty of sites that you could post these to.   At one point it was asked if we  would be offended if there were two males.  I would also.  But it is normally woman being portrayed like this.  Now I am sure I am going to be bashed.  But the first posting stated, “let me know what you thinkâ€?
