Portbox - New Modeling / Photographer booking site
Jul 14 15 01:23 pm Link It is not possible to search the talent on that site without first being a member and it is not possible to be a member without being invited. Being invited requires an applicant to supply links to a website/s that the High Priests of Portbox consider sufficiently worthy. Overall, far too many hoops to jump through before you even get to see whether the site is sufficiently well populated to know if it is worthwhile joining. It's their prerogative to be selective as they want. The only way to find out is apply. I feel for Udor. I, too, belong to so many sites that I forgot most of them because they have no activity or models in my area. No outline of features, no ability to browse, no idea where their talent is represented and listed, no outline of real results, just a shitty screenshot of the lackluster layout and plenty of airbrushed glamor babes on the front page.. There are better sites, better constructed layouts with more features. They all end up derelict after the hype wears off. I've been on the Net since the mid nineties so get lots of sign up offers. This does however seem interesting since one of the biggest problems photographers complain about here is the lax vetting process and dead profiles that never get deleted. I'm in the UK and it appears that Purpleport has taken MMs crown over here already. Jul 16 15 01:38 am Link Hi, When I tried to sign up it said only people with a referral can get a free membership, then it also said I am on a waitlist and then it gave me a referral link for other people and said I would get referral credit for people who use it. So it looks like a game. You need a referral to sign up but, you get a referral and credit instead if other people use yours. ?
