Hey Everyone! I am looking for some feedback on my portfolio. I just upgraded and added a bunch of pictures so it would be great if you could help me decide what are my best photos! Much love. May 08 16 10:24 am Link A few of your shots I find to be knockout images. Here are my top four shots: I like the styling of this last shot, but the fact that your eye is closed is distracting. May 08 16 06:14 pm Link Overall I think you have a solid book going here, but there are two images I would recommend you remove: Flat boring lighting, messy hair and unflattering pose. Ditch. Sorry but this is a terrible image. Everything is in focus EXCEPT your face and head dress (and a bit of the tree). And the on-camera flash makes this look like a cheap snapshot, not to mention gives us a great view straight into your armpit. Your arm is cut off at the wrist... I can go on, but there is no point. This image doesn't belong in a model's portfolio (or anyone else's portfolio for that matter). I would remove this one immediately. As I said, all the rest are much better than these two. best of luck! May 11 16 12:37 am Link Thanks for the feedback guys I appreciate it! May 11 16 10:18 pm Link The lack of lighting makes the shadow merge into your waist and ass adding about 20lbs. Not a good thing in a portfolio shot! See the bulge at the end of the nose? Too close with too short a lens plus the tip of the nose is over-lit, making it bulge even more. A lot of the others are excellent - these are the two I'd consider problematic to have in a portfolio because they create the illusion of body flaws that don't exist. May 12 16 05:47 am Link |
