Overall, I'd say you should try to work with some better photographers. I could see you doing some interesting boudoir or pinup images. The one photo that I would remove from your portfolio immediately is this one. A filter has been applied that is not attractive.

This shot isn't the best pose either, probably worth removing also:

I find your smiling images endearing. This is my favorite of the smiling shots.

I like the direction of these, but I wish the image quality was better. The last one has an intriguing intimacy to it, but I do wish the quality wasn't so blurry/fuzzy.

Looks like you are having fun with photography. Do some homework about posing. Try to find a quality photographer, I think you could create some stylish work.

many have quality challenges that you should work to replace, several are too soft to save.

one that I quite like, it also has technical issues, like it's dark and your face, especially eyes are
very dark, but it's fun, playful and have a nice smile.

As a model you're doing fine but you're at the mercy of the photographers ability and I think you understand that. All you can do is keep shooting and you'll end up with more keepers.

This one should go:  https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/41215690  18+

You can keep most of the others but you should work on replacing them with new shots of better quality, concentrating on the genres which you most want to work in. I agree that you have an excellent look for pinup, and for artistic nudes.

Often a beginning model is best served by hiring a photographer to do some really good shots, which will result in getting more offers of work from other photographers. You can message photographers within driving distance of your location and see if any are interested in trade, if not, then find one that has outstanding work in the genres you most like and pay for one or two photo sessions to get some new photos.

This pose is awesome if it weren't for that funky filter.

You seem at ease in front of the camera, SEEM comfortable in your skin, & have a nice smile (I'm an admitted sucker for those).

The downside is that except for a few shots, the picture quality in your portfolio are mediocre to not very good. Most of the pictures in your port aren't doing a decent job of respecting your curves or don't know how to (maybe inexperience?).

As for which to keep & which to delete...? I generally reccommend people only put up one of the same set or outfit.

Thank you all for your critique!! I think it's safe to say that the picture with me upside down on the chair is the biggest bust. He tried to give the picture a classic pinup filter. I definitely need to get into the hands of a true professional, someone who has an artistic eye. I am very confident in my body and the way I portray it. I thought that would definitely help in my modeling career. But so far I've been in the hands of people who have TONS of experience. So I thought I was in the right direction, but I guess I'm not. lol.

The pictures would be ok but most of them are very blurry. At least have your face clear and the background blurry. Not your fault though thats all on the photographer.

Try to find photographers who demonstrate good use of shadows in their imagery rather than those who thoughtlessly flood the scene with light. Shadows add mystery, depth and intrigue. Shadows will be your friend.

BTW - don't confuse time with experience. There are many 'professional' photographers who claim 30 or 40 years experience whilst demonstrating no more capability than might be acquired by a rank novice in just a few months.

The quality of the photographer(s) is very poor. As a fellow plus size model I understand the struggle to find photographers who 1 will work with you and 2 know how to shoot plus size women. I would really research who are the quality photographers in your area. I was in NY and know some amazing photographers of you need some references. Just shoot me a message to my inbox. I would also look into some great muas. Look at photos of the type of work you want to produce and find people to collaborate with who are producing that level of work.

As for your modeling, I am going to give you a straight forward critique because I would want the same. You need to study how to create angles. As a plus size model, angles tend to be our handicap because let's face it, we don't always have them. So you need to learn how to pose to create those angles and accentuate your curves. As a fellow plus girl with a round face, I never let a photographer take a photo from below me. All it does is bring attention to my double chin and lose my jaw line. I have also learned that if it is uncomfortable, it prolly looks great on camera. Over extending your hip to one side as you suck in your abdomin isn't very comfortable, but it gives a beautiful curve and looks great on camera. When I'm laying down (on a bed, the ground, etc) I am always arching my back to decrease my stomach and increase my bust which helps to give the illusion of a smaller waistline. When modeling you always want to make geometric angles with your body. I would research pinup poses and practice them at home, figure out what works for you and once you are good at them, you can alter them to different styles of shooting.

You are on the right path and i commend you for being open to critique. You have a beautiful frame, keep working and and enjoying what you do. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

I agree it's the photographer not you.  I've done lots of  plus size shooting.
The photographer has to know how to pose you.  That's not your job.
I know what I need so I don't press the button until I get the model into exactly the pose I want.  Anything else is a waste of time.
You have the cute face and smiles.  The plus size audience wants to see what you have.  Avoid the butt shots.  Show off the curves. Find a photographer that has plus size in his book.  Preferably published.

Think I would like to see you add a quality color headshot with your wonderful smile.
At this point the photos you have are not working for me as a photographer.

I wish you well
